1913 Steinway Model M

For decades this fine Steinway belonged to a piano teacher who lived in a very large Victorian house on Sacramento Street in San Francisco - we are now selling it for her trust to settle her estate. She had two other grand pianos on which she did most of her teaching, and as a result this piano has very little wear and all of the original components are intact and in fine condition. The soundboard is untouched and in perfect condition, including the beautiful decal listing the royal families who were Steinway customers. The ivory keys have yellowed slightly but otherwise are in perfect shape. At some point years ago the case was refinished and it is now cracking and will need to be redone if the new owner wants a fine piece of furniture. Of course the finish does not affect the tone quality and this piano has a magnificent full sound and because of the case condition is offered at a very attractive price. Size 5ft. 7in. Serial number 162530.
