1917 Steinway Model A

This is the longest of the Model As built by Steinway, sometimes known as the AIII. Piedmont Piano Company originally acquired this piano in 1986 from a local estate. We sold it that year, and undertook a complete restoration of the piano internally and externally for the new owner. In the ensuing years the piano has been lovingly cared for, and played sparingly. The owner's relocation to another state has necessitated its sale and so it has been returned to our showroom after 25 years, once again to find a new home. The figured mahogany case is very beautiful and the original ivory keys are in excellent condition as is the original soundboard which has never had any cracks. As expected the tone is rich and snsorous and this piano will satisfy the most particular musician. Size 6ft. 4.5in. Serial number 187327.
