1927 Knabe

This very fine piano has an interesting story. A few years ago its longtime owner paid $10,000 to have the mahogany case refinished to a very high standard. For some reason it was then stored in a garage where dampness damaged the beautiful new finish. Before the owner ever brought it into her house she moved away and we were offered the piano for a very low price. We determined that the dampness had not seriously damaged the internal workings of the piano and made the necessary adjustments, and we were able to bring the finish most of the way back, although it is not perfect. This piano has its original strings and hammers which are in fine shape and the soundboard and ivory keys are perfect. Offered here for less than half of the refinishing cost!
