1988 Yamaha C3 MIDI

	For a brief period in the end of the 1980's, Yamaha manufactured an acoustic grand piano designed to function as a controller for external synthesizers and modules. The intended market for these unique instruments was recording studios and performers. Please note that this is NOT a player piano. It is made to control other instruments from the piano keyboard while being completely transparent to the piano function. It has 4 midi outputs and the keyboard can be zoned into 4 sections. There are 64 programmable presets and a pitch bend and modulation controller on the left cheek block. The piano also comes with 2 foot controller pedals and 2 footswitch pedals. While these rare instruments were sold at a premium when they were new, we are selling this one for the price of a regular used C3. As such, it is in excellent condition with a very responsive action and full rich tone these pianos have become known for. Size 6ft. 1in. Serial number 4520471.
