Our teachers who teach one-on-one private lessons are private contractors. We refer students to them.

Thea Farhadian (M.A.) has performed classical, Arabic, North African, Sephardic, Cuban and free/atonal improvisational styles. She has performed with the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, ASWAT, Moe Alilech, Charunga Tumbao e Cuerdas, Estrea d/Oro, and SF State faculty music performances. She has participated in solo and collaborative performances in the SF area, New York, Berlin, and Armenia. She has 17 years of teaching experience in schools and individuals, and has a California teaching credential. Thea enjoys working with both children and adults.Thea teaches in her home studio in Oakland.

Classes start in August 2011
