The instructors who teach one-on-one private lessons are private contractors. We refer students to them.

Cello Instruction with Nathan Blaz:

Nathan Blaz is a recording and touring cellist, and has been playing for over 20 years. He studied under Eugene Friesen (Paul Winter Consort) at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, while pursuing a degree in Music Synthesis. Active in the local independent rock circuit, and with a keen interest in furthering the cello in popular music, he has recorded with St. Vincent (4AD Records) as well as his own bands Geographer (Tricycle Records) and Honeycomb. Nathan resides in Berkeley, CA.
