Our guitar classes are small groups, generally 5-10 students, so everyone
gets hands-on experience and individual attention from the teacher.

Barry Solomon’s Beginning Guitar
Beginning Guitar, 8 weeks $215
Mondays Jan. 22-March 12, 6:30-7:30 pm.
This class will get you started with guitar in a fun, relaxed group setting. You’ll learn some basic chords and a simple folk song the very first night, and progress to the concept of keys, as well as fun techniques like bass runs, right hand strum and pick patterns, and a few simple scales. Different guitar styles will be displayed and discussed.

Barry Solomon's Intermediate Guitar
Intermediate Guitar, 8 weeks $215
Dates and times to be determined...
For students who have taken Barry’s beginning class or who have had some background, including knowledge of open chords and some facility with finger-style picking and with a pick. Learn classic licks, arrangements, and chords to your favorite oldies. Also simple scales to play leads, bar chords, and strumming and picking patterns. Increase your skills in a fun group environment.
