Tot-ages 4-5 and Music is Fun-ages 2-3
AVANT TOT is a group class for 4 and 5 yr olds (pre-kindergarten
and kindergarten)
that teaches this age group musical concepts (loud-soft, high-low
pitch, location of middle C, singing doe-re-mi-fa-sol, doe-re-mi-fa-sol
fingers and doe-re-mi-fa-sol piano keys + more) using the piano.
The material is presented in a focused, logical stream of short
segments. The material is reinforced with the
accompanying book AVANT TOT written by MaryClare Bryztwa (Mills
College graduate) who developed the curriculum.
It is a fun class, and will prepare your child for group or
private music lessons.
Classes are 45 minutes, once a week for 6 weeks. Cost is $150,
and the book is $20.
The following start dates are scheduled for Saturdays at 10:00 am
at the Piedmont Ave x Grand Ave. location.
APRIL 17TH thru May 22
JUNE 5th thru July
10
JULY 17th thru August 21.
Sessions are in the process of being organized and will also be
on Saturdays for:
MUSIC IS FUN classes for 2-3 yr olds, exploring rhythm, pitch,
soft-loud, high-low and counting, with drums and piano
is a 10 week session, 45 minutes 1x week @ $200.
FOR SUMMER -- AVANT TOT AND MUSIC IS FUN
sessons will be offered Monday thru Friday AM, dates and times are
being worked out right now. Schedule will be emailed
ASAP.
