Pablo Estigarribia is a virtuoso Argentine tango pianist, arranger and composer. He is originally a classically trained pianist who also plays Jazz. For many years Pablo Estigarribia studied and performed closely with Tango legends such as Emilio Balcarce, Horacio Cabarcos, Maria Graña. He worked as composer/arranger for a decade with former Osvaldo Pugliese arranger, Victor Lavallen. Tango is an oral tradition and the piano solo is not a common format for a tango concert. However, Pablo Estigarribia provides a fresh approach to tango music by combining classical textures and jazz harmonies with the traditional rhythm and structure of Argentine tango.

Throughout his career, he has performed over 150 concerts around the world in Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, Russia, Finland, Canada, USA and Cuba with top Argentine tango orchestras including Victor Lavallen Orchestra, Tango Pasión, Lisandro Adrover Quintet and his own group, Meridional Sextet. In 2015, Estigarribia won the prestigious Gardel Prize for best recording of tango by a new artist for his recent release, Tangos para Piano (EPSA). He is considered among the best tango musicians of his generation and received a Medal of Honor by The Argentine Tango Society in 2015. He is an in-demand guest artist/faculty member for tango festivals around the world and brings a proud tradition of tango music to the next generation of musicians by giving master classes, workshops and lectures.
