Welcome to Piedmont Piano Company. We are a family owned and operated music store providing top quality instruments to Northern California and the world for over 29 years. We are the factory authorized representative for Yamaha pianos, Yamaha Clavinova digital pianos, and Yamaha Disklavier player pianos in our Oakland location. We are the factory authorized representative for Bechstein pianos from Germany and Fazioli pianos from Italy. We specialize in fine used pianos and always stock a large selection of pre-owned Steinways. We also carry fine new and used acoustic guitars including Martin (factory authorized dealer), Gibson, Tacoma, Yamaha, and Antonio Aparicio.

We regularly ship pianos and guitars throughout North America, as well as to Europe and Asia. We offer quality piano rentals both long and short term, and our music school provides classes and lessons for all ages. We work in association with the other branch of the family business, Callahan Piano Service, which performs tuning, repairs, and restoration for our customers.
